I saw Ghost. We went to AIRBUS museum.

I saw Ghost. We went to AIRBUS museum.

I see a real ghost for the first time in my life. The goosebumps did’t go away for 1.5 hours.

Today, for the first time in my life, I saw a ghost. In the middle of the night, I was thinking I was having a weird dream, maybe someone touched me, but I was feeling uncomfortable in my lower back or something and that woke me up.

I opened my eyes and saw a woman with a hat in front of me. She had short hair, down to her shoulders. The blue light from my computer charger, a little light leaking from the window, and a nice blend of light mixed with the pitch-black room made it possible for me to see her face very clearly.

When I opened my eyes, I was so scared and startled by the fact that she was 30 cm away from me. At first I thought it was Jelena’s mother staring at me. How scary, I thought. But of course it was not, it was really a ghost. 2 seconds passed, and then the person who was staring at me noticed my surprise and walked away. It was really a ghost.

But it didn’t seem to be a bad person. I kept chanting Namu Daishi Hensho Kongo and Namu Amidabutsu. I realized that it was 8 o’clock in the morning. As the light gradually came on, I felt less and less scared. But I wondered if I should really turn on the light.

I was afraid of what would happen if the ghost did something to me when I tried to turn on the light, or if I closed my eyes and opened them again to see the person. I was really scared. I had never experienced anything like this before in my life. I was really scared.

In the morning, I decided to call my grandma, who is a psychic, and ask her for advice.

In the morning, I called my grandma and told her about this ghost, about what happened in Latvia, and about what happened in France. I also told her that it might be someone’s ghost. I was told that if someone has a strong feeling for me, their ghost will fly to me. Scary, scary.

After the talk with my grandma, I worked on my own projects and issued invoices. I am really happy because my salary this month will exceed 500,000 yen for the first time. While I was doing all these things, Jelena also woke up.

Today I am an introvert. My personality changes by the day, by the hour.

She was up at 11:00 today and it was late morning, not good morning lol. I tried to go downstairs where her mom was to get my shirt, but I didn’t know how to talk to her, so I thought to myself, “I guess I have a personality that thinks about a lot of things”. I know it’s different for everyone, but I just can’t figure out if I have that kind of introverted personality or not, and I really don’t know how to get started. I hope one day I will be able to solve this problem.

But as Jelena said before, she doesn’t know how to talk to me. But here I am with her, and I don’t know how to talk to her either lol.

I think we are similar after all, so I am sure we will be fine. It’s not that we are awkward, but really this is our personalities. It may take a long time for us to get to know each other and open up to each other. But it’s their complicated personalities that make us interesting.

Today’s schedule is also busy! I prefer to spend time with her in a relaxed atmosphere

I wrote a little diary entry and went downstairs. When I went downstairs, I found her mother and Jelena talking with each other! She always says “Hello!” to me. She is a really kind mother. She asked me if I slept well last night. I didn’t hide myself, I didn’t lie, I told her honestly, “I had a nightmare and had a scary experience, so I couldn’t sleep”. That’s okay. You can just tell them what you experienced as it is. It doesn’t matter what the other person thinks. It doesn’t matter.

Then, her mother prepared coffee and baguettes. I was really looking forward to eating a baguette at Jelena’s house, because it is the best baguette I have ever tasted. She also prepared coffee. I took my shirt, folded my other socks, went upstairs, put on my shirt, and then put on my VOGUE red outfit.

It was supposed to rain all day today, so we were supposed to go to Montalban, a small castle-like place, but we changed the plan and decided to go to the AIRBUS museum in Toulouse called Aeroscopeia today. And we decided to watch a movie in the evening. I ate a baguette and we talked about the movie. Jelena researched movies with English subtitles. But I really want to feel the French culture, and even if I don’t understand the French language, it is important to know the atmosphere, and I think there is something special in it that I feel because I don’t understand the language, so I decided to tell her that I want to watch a French movie.

But I mistakenly thought we would be watching a movie at home instead of at the cinema, so I brought my computer downstairs and introduced my movie list to her. I completely forgot to eat a baguette, so I ate a baguette. She doesn’t like Titanic, apparently. She said it was like a cheesy romance movie that made very little sense. She said something like that. Titanic is three hours long, so I haven’t seen it all the way through.

Then I felt like playing the piano, so I played Nocturne, Turkish March, Sonatine, and Sonata. Then her mother said I am good at it, which made me very happy. I thought to myself, “The only thing I can do is to play the piano. Really. I also felt that both Jelena and her mother are really nice people because they like to Give more than Take.

In fact, Jelena’s mother is also an inspiration.

Then, before going out, I shared with her the story of the ghost I saw. Jelena’s mother tole me that she is also psychic and that there is an invisible force at work. She said that the moment she enters a house, she feels like she can’t breathe, and that she can tell when someone is in the house. But she can also tell if it is a good person or a bad person.

Once, when a friend of hers was about to commit suicide, an invisible force told her to make a U-turn and go over there while she was driving! She saved her friend from committing suicide and now her friend is living happily with her two children. Her mother said that she could tell if a person was a good person or a bad person the moment she saw him or her. I shared that with her because she really is the same as my grandma.

Really, they are very much alike, and my grandma likes jazz music too. I was sure they would get along well. She also likes wine. So, like her mother, Jelena likes jazz, and I like jazz because of my grandmother’s influence. So, through an unseen force, I’m now staying at her house. In fact, I never thought for a millimeter that we would spend New Year’s holiday together. So for me, it’s really unbelievable. I still can’t believe that I am at Jelena’s house. I was like, “I didn’t know such a thing could happen”. I really felt a mysterious power.

I wonder if there is something I can do for her. There must be something, something. I don’t know what it is yet. But there must be something.

When I called my grandma in the morning, she told me that I should bring some incense when I go abroad next time, and I told her that I couldn’t bring it on the plane. Then, to my surprise, Jelena’s mother told me that she had incense sticks and that she would cook them, and she brought me some sandalwood incense sticks and said that she prey every morning. I really couldn’t believe it, because we really had that in common, too. So I thought, “I guess we really are like each other”. That’s what I thought.

French supermarket! Too many kinds of yogurt and cheese! A huge baguette of about 80 cm!

From then on, we went to the supermarket first. A French supermarket. The supermarket was not as expensive as I thought it would be, and the cheese was crazy cheap. I was surprised to see so many cheeses sold in French supermarkets, and I thought to myself, “This is the real home of cheese”. They also sold Emmentaler, Gouda, goat cheese, and blue cheese. Everything was really cheap. And the baguettes were really big. Jelena seems to like Greek yogurt. And they had KIRI on sale, too.

When I walked around with a basket of luggage, she said, “I’ll hold it.” and I thought, “She’s really independent, isn’t she?” That’s really how French people are. I thought again how cool it is.

She has her own identity, and I think that’s really cool.

エレーナが小さい頃に食べていたマカロニ

Macaroni that Jelena used to eat when she was little.

They also sold Japanese Cup Noodles. But I had never seen that brand of Cup Noodles. She also bought me salami, camembert and goat cheese, which I like. It was really a very apologetic hospitality. I will be a nice person who can repay more than 10 times this in the future.

I always wanted to visit the AIRBUS museum!

Well, then we went to Aeroscope. While Jelena’s mother was driving all the way to the airport for us, I was completely exhausted. I was so tired that I couldn’t sleep thanks to last night’s ghost. So I fell asleep.

After arriving at Aeroscopeia, we both went to Aeroscopeia. Mom went to a cafe. I had seen Jelena’s HelloTalk postings with pictures of her old trips to Aeroscopeia, so I thought, “Ahhhhhh…! I definitely want to go here!” So I was really happy that it came true and I am nothing but a happy person. I was really happy.

The ticket was 14 euros at Aeroscope. Yesterday, Jelena bought the ticket for me, and when I said, “I’ll buy it,” she refused, saying, “Okay, I’ll pay.” Apparently, in France, or at least among her friends, it is always split. So, France is really individualistic, that was my discovery.

Aeroscope was really big, with an Air France Concorde outside and many retired Airbus planes on display inside, which we saw in about two hours. There was also a game where we had to assemble the AIRBUS, which we enjoyed. I was able to make it look good, but Jelena had a hard time, which was cute lol.

For the first time, I got to see tires and jet engines really up close, so that was a really happy. It was a really good experience.

The engine is still a Rolls Royce.

I didn’t always see with her, it was really more of an individual touring way. But I liked that for me. Of course, our time is precious and I want to talk a lot and get to know her better because we met 1.5 years ago and she is someone I talk to regularly. But she always seems to prefer to be alone or doesn’t know what to say to me, so we don’t talk to each other. But that’s okay. I think she’s just not used to it yet.

With these thoughts in mind, I was surprised to see the large aircraft at AIRBUS.

I wished I could show myself more without being shy. But something was still holding me back. I wondered why it was stuck. I couldn’t figure it out either. But I’m sure I’ll find out the answer someday.

Even the souvenir section is super agonizing!

Two hours passed in a flash, and we went to the souvenir corner. There were many replicas of Concorde, Airbus posters, badges, and key chains. I was really lost. She was buying a birthday present for her friend, and I was trying to decide whether to buy a lid with a wine Concorde, a badge, or a necktie pin. After all that, I decided to buy a badge and a wine lid. I kept saying to Jelena, “Sorry!” I was so confused. But I enjoyed our conversation. She had a big smile on her face. I wondered if she was being considerate. I thought, “I don’t want her to be bothered.” I am sure I am overthinking that too!

Finally heading to the cinema! Super excited!

Well, so we finally left Aeroskopia and we headed to the movie theater. I sit in the back of car and watch her mom and Jelena talking in French. She is drawing on the fogged window, sometimes hugging her mother. They really are a close-knit family, and it’s wonderful. And because the car is small and for two people, and because it is an old car, I feel that they are shining even more brightly. They really look happy. They really are a wonderful family. I was so moved. It was so nice. I thought, “This is the kind of family I want to meet.” I love France. I was half asleep while thinking like that.

When I arrived at the cinema, I was surprised to find that it was a really vintage place that didn’t look like a cinema. Normally it would be some kind of building, but it was a movie theater in a really old restaurant, very cozy. It was very nice.

Movie theaters are very fancy places

We were so hungry, but to our surprise, dinner was started from 6:30 p.m., so we had 40 minutes to wait. We chose a spot near the fireplace in the back of the restaurant and talked there.

Jelena’s piano is very nice

I was very sleepy, but Jelena noticed a piano nearby and played Debussy’s Moonlight. I was watching her, thinking how wonderful it was to be in this atmosphere. Her piano playing was so beautiful and full of emotion.

She got lost in the middle of the piece and couldn’t play anymore, and when I went over to her side, her face was bright red, as if she felt very embarrassed. A woman said something to her in French, which I thought was a compliment, but at that moment her face turned red. Then she went to her mother, hid her face and hugged her. It was really too cute. I thought, “Ahhhh, so this is Jelena”.

After that, I talked about jazz with her mom and asked her, “Do you know this album by Take Five?”, “Do you know this jazz musician who plays the saxophone?”. Jelena showed me a Japanese musician who plays in an orchestra, which I thought was very cool. He is also studying biology, just like me!

So time passed and it was almost 6:30 p.m. We went to the cashier and she ordered a cheese set or something. I felt bad for making her pay again. She said I didn’t have to pay her, but she usually pays me without any concern, so it wasn’t a little comfortable for me, who likes to GIVE.

I fell in love with the Apero time! What a wonderful romantic time!

Then she also bought me a ticket. The ticket is like a blue check, which is supposed to be a ticket. Today we are going to see a comedy movie called “Le parfum vert”, so she bought me a ticket for that. I thought it was really vintage and very nice.

As we were talking, we finally had two glasses of red wine, juice, bread, jam, salad, and cheese! We had itadakimasu. It was really delicious. The cheese was sheep cheese, saucisson, a kind of salami, and wine. It was really great. The bread was great, too.

羊のチーズ。僕は大好きになった。

Sheep cheese. I’ve grown to love it.

I think that today’s meal is very comfortable and very tasty than yesterday’s gastronomic one. I talked to her mom about that. Anyway, it was really fun. But I am still cautious and my Japanese character comes out. The lesson that one should not be rude has caused a lot of ripples. Of course, that is very important, but at the same time, it may be the reason why I am not fully immersed in French culture.

I think I should behave more freely, but there is still a wall. How can I break through it? It all depends on myself. It is my fault. If I change myself, they will change too.

The name of the movie we saw is “Le parfum vert”.

Well, so we went to the movie theater. The theater was very vintage, not at all like most movie theaters in Japan, and very nicely structured. There were not many seats, so Jelena and I sat in the front two seats and her mom sat in the back one.

フランスの映画館

Cinema in France

The movie had some interesting moods along the way, and I could tell what they were saying by the expressions on their faces. This is what I mean. This is exactly what happens when you concentrate on the visual senses because you don’t understand the language. I think this is very important.

In the end, I didn’t know what the movie was about, but it was a great experience for me. Thanks to Jelena and her mother, I was able to see a French film in a French cinema. I am so grateful. We then went home and I was very thirsty because I had a glass of wine, so I drank a lot of water. Tomorrow is finally! I am going to meet her uncle!
