Hanoi to Da Nang! Good tapioca on Vietnam Airlines!

To DaNang! I drink tapioka in the sky!

Today was the day to go to Da Nang! So I decided to get up around 12:00 am, since my flight was at 15:10, I should be there 2 hours before the flight. I got up around 12:00 a.m. and called a cab to get ready for the flight, but the time had already passed.

I have so many happy memories of Hanoi. The cab was great because it was a very big car. But it took more than 30 minutes to get to the airport because of the traffic jam. Hanoi airport is quite far.

Arrive at Hanoi International Airport and check in safely

But after honking the horn as much as he could, I finally arrived at the airport. It was already 1.5 hours before the flight, so I hurried to check in. But apparently we were in the wrong terminal, so I took a bus to Terminal 1. And I was able to check in safely. It seems that the terminals are different for domestic and international flights. So I was able to go on a domestic flight without incident.

I chose Vietnam Airlines, which was really nice because it automatically comes with checked baggage. Besides, on the way waiting for the plane, I ate Bamiyan. That was really good, the kind with beef and stuff like that in the bread.

ベトナムエアラインに乗る!

Onboarding Vietnam Airlines!

Let’s go to the DaNang!!

I boarded the plane and the seats were very comfortable and firm. It was so different from budget airlines like Vietjet Air, and I thought it was really nice. I also thought that one of the characteristics of this airline is that it has a very steep climb and descent. Of course, it depends on the pilot, but it seemed to rise and fall surprisingly fast.

I had forgotten that I had ordered tapioca when I booked the flight with Vietnam Airlines. So the cabin attendant asked me if I had ordered tapioca. She brought it to me. I said no, even though she brought it to me.

タピオカティー!最高においしい

Tapioca tea! Delicious at its best!

So I was like, “Sorry, I forgot I ordered that,” again, showed them my ticket and got a tapioca. It tasted really good. It tasted like tapioca, but without the stickiness, like regular jelly. I don’t drink tapioca because it is famous for being fattening, but after a long time, I was really surprised at how good it tasted. It was really good.

Arrived DaNang! There is pool and gym! OMG!

And so I arrived in Da Nang! Then I took a cab. For some reason, the cab driver did not pick us up and told us to come to the parking lot. I thought there were several people there and I thought I was going to get ripped off, but the guy was actually friendly. So he asked me a bunch of questions and said that I could call him if I wanted to get around from now on. He asked me, “Do you have a line?” So I said, “I don’t want to take a taxi, I want to take a bike”. Then the conversation was cut short. That’s all there was to it, I thought. So he took me to the hotel, where I checked in without incident. The hotel was amazingly clean. It had a swimming pool and a gym, so it was really luxurious.

屋上にはプールがある!

There is a swimming pool on the rooftop!

But it’s a double bed, so I’ll have to sleep with my friend who will come later. But that’s okay lol. So I took a walk around the area.

Today’s dinner is KFC and I walk along the coastside!

ダナンの街を歩く!

Walking the streets of Da Nang!

I ate at KFC in the evening. I had the chicken rice bowl, which is only available in Vietnam. It was delicious.

After that, I walked along the coast of the sea. Even though it was so late at night, there were many people, some of whom were catching shellfish or something.

The sea in Da Nang is very lively!

And a couple. I think it’s fun to be so close to the coast. That’s why I am glad I chose to live near the ocean.
